I have send an e-mail on Saturday and I know that it takes 1-3 business days to answer, but this matter is important and urgent.

Any message, data, information, text, music, sound, photos, graphics, code or any other material ("Content") that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable;)

Before I lay a formal complaint with WIPO I'm waiting for your reply. Before I take further action regarding this matter.

A process of registering a new Thai company followed before a business account at a Thai bank could be opened. Until l such time that these processes were completed, an account was still held in South-Africa. The Website http://www.thebesthotelsinthailand.com is now linked to Bangkok Bank, a major Thai bank, and the company now uses the payment gateway services of Siampay.com. All payments are charged in Thai Baht.

http://www.thebesthotelsinthailand.com/ carries the Comodo certificate of authenticity, also confirming the website uses SSL for secure transactions. This alone should be indication enough of the website’s authenticity. Those who are familiar with ID Authority credentials, are welcome to confirm our credentials with Comodo. We are also registered with the Department of Business Development Thailand. http://www.thebesthotelsinthailand.com/ (tbhbookings.com CO.LTD. - reg.no.0105551104400)

The fact remains that the untrue, insulting and trade libel online defamation made against a good, trustworthy and legitimate business will keep on causing distrust and doubt about our company with people who read it and unfairly cause the business to loose potential clients and even more important, loose online credibility overall.

The above is not a matter for opinion, as would be in the case in a discussion of whether a hotel is a good one or not. It is matter of whether the accusations are true or not. The fact is they are wrong and false and has no place on a forum like Tripadvisor., if Tripadvisor can to any extend be regarded as fair and unbiased. If it is left on Tripadvisor we cannot help but to wonder to who’s benefit it would be. We therefore request Tripadvisor to review this discussion and in all fairness remove it from this forum as soon as possible.

If someone was thinking he contacted the hotel or its staff directly, then we in the processes of answering to his inquiry immediately corrected his misunderstanding. As you mention above, he was answered by someone who correctly and honestly identified himself as the reservations manager for thebesthotelsinthailand.com. He was not answered by someone identifying himself as someone he is not. movenpickphuket.com is our website. On all the website’s pages it is clearly stated that the website is in no way connected or affiliated to Movenpick Hotels & Resorts and that it is in fact affiliated to http://www.thebesthotelsinthailand.com. We did not pose as the hotel itself in any way nor was there any intentional attempt to create the idea that the website is indeed the official hotel website. It cannot be more clearly stated that the website is not affiliated to the hotel itself and is affiliated to us.
Many of the so called well known website owners, some mentioned in this discussion, own several other websites built for a particular hotel or particular region. It is not uncommon.

We support the idea behind a forum like Tripadvisor. However, when a situation like the above unfairly leads to the detriment of a proven legitimate business, then surely a reputable name like Tripadvisor should take some form of action to make sure the correct information is relayed to the world.

As stated before, this is a Trade libel online defamation against my company and it's services, all comments and statements made by your users are untrue. This matter will be taken further depending on your reply.

The website thebesthotelinthailand.com (not our website) is reported to the WIPO for cyber squatting.

movenpickphuket.com (our site) does not fall in the category of cyber squatting, all proceeds and bookings go to the hotel and we are not impersonating the hotel as clearly stated on the website itself.

Please let me know if you need signed attorney copies of all my company's registration papers.
